Marne Honigbaum is the Founder, Owner, and Director of Stepping Stones Preschool. She has been an Ithaca resident and local educator since graduating from Ithaca College in 1995.
In 2003, Marne applied her passion for the Montessori Philosophy and love of teaching to the creation of Stepping Stones Preschool. Stepping Stones curriculum and Mission includes a focus on respecting one another and the environment, sustainability, and giving back to the community. Marne strives to teach every child graciousness, kindness, and compassion while instilling a love of learning and independent thought.
Marne is the proud mother of two children, (both Stepping Stones graduates!), and serves on the Board of Directors to the Ithaca Children's Garden.
